Our faith is in the universal Church of Jesus Christ, established on Pentecost, composed of believers worldwide, and organized into local congregations known as churches. I uphold that Scripture mandates every believer to actively participate in a local church body.
I recognize that the church's Elders serve as its leaders and caretakers of its congregation; they are tasked with the ultimate responsibility of interpreting Scripture for the church and overseeing the members' guidance, growth, correction, and restoration.
I affirm that Scripture directs church members to engage in consistent fellowship, worship, teaching, and communion. We are to employ our talents and spiritual gifts for mutual service.
The Bible instructs us to practice love, patience, acceptance, and forgiveness towards one another. We strive for unity, agreement, and peace within the church body. We are to share each other's burdens and uphold one another in prayer, encouraging acts of love and goodness.
Submission to our elders' authority, financial contribution to the church's needs, personal pursuit of sanctity, and obedience to Scripture are also Biblical teachings we embrace. Together, we work to achieve the Great Commission's objectives.
